History Channel: Ancient Aliens

I want to meet the people responsible for this gem on the History Channel. Not only, was it the best two hours of my life spent in front of the television waiting for something better to come on, it was the most prolific and life-changing special I have ever seen.

Video Games: Infectonator: World Dominator (Flash)

Zombies, Zombies, Zombies it seems like you can swing a sack of cats around here without hitting another Zombie game. Flash games are not exempt in what seems to be a zombie(game) outbreak. (See what I did there?) The vast majority of these zombie games share much with their undead/infected/vodooized subjects meaning that they are dull, mindless, and slow. So, why bother trying an other zombie game, and a flash one at that? Read on to find out.

Just the Tip: The Splinter Cell: Conviction Demo (X-Box 360)

Ever since I could wrap my hands around a controller I have had a great hatred for one genre of game: stealth action. I can never play them properly. I clearly lack the patience necessary to play these games the way they are meant to be played. Instead, I play the first level as I would a standard third person shooter, die a shit load, immediately become frustrated and never play said stealth game ever again. Unfortunately for me, Splinter Cell: Conviction has been a real interest for me since it got its shiny new make-over. On the bright side, Ubi Soft has released a demo for the upcoming Splinter Cell game on X-Box Live so I can see if I have developed any sort of patience since my last attempt at a stealth game. Probably not. This won’t end well.

Mass Effect 2: Firewalker DLC (PC)

If you haven’t dropped into the Mass Effect 2 universe since you beat it, today may be the day to jump back in. Today marked the release of the much anticipated “Firewalker” DLC which is yet another free piece of content to everyone on the Cerberus Network. Since it was announced, I have been beyond skeptical about this pack, mainly because it introduces a vehicle to my beloved Mass Effect 2. Anyone who has played the original Mass Effect knows that driving the Mako land rover was beyond bullshit. How well has Bioware integrated the Hammerhead into Mass Effect 2? Read on to find out.

Dial “Archer” for Awesome

Last week, sadly, was the last episode this season’s Archer on FX. Every week I looked forward to those 20 glorious minutes of awesomesauce, but now with the season ended I feel so empty and alone. It didn’t help that the episode left me wanting for more, either. But here’s what went down with possible spoilers, but let’s be honest you should have seen it by now:
So you ask yourself, how can a show like this get awesomer? And is that even a word? Probably not, but here’s the short …
